Before ATC, Amy was a reporter. Her favorite topics were--and still are--garbage and recycling, which she still reports on whenever she can get out of the studio.
Roman Catholic Church Confronts Sexual Abuse

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston has been rocked by a scandal in which its leader, Bernard Cardinal Law, is accused of moving priests, with known histories of sexually abusing children, from parish to parish. It has settled more than 80 lawsuits involving sexual molestation charges by one former priest. The scandal is affecting policies in dioceses across the country. This week, the Archdiocese of New York said it will now tell law enforcment officials about priests accused of sexual abuse of children. WNYC's Amy Eddings is following the story.
