Ava Luna isn't the first band to mesh R&B and synths into an electro-soul amalgam, but there's something about their heavenly harmonies, fervent vocals and D.I.Y. aesthetic that makes them sound fresher than the myriad of other electro mashups on the market. The seven-piece outfit have been steadily accumulating praise for their Services EP released earlier this year, and on this track, it's clear why. Grounded in both seductive rhythm and anguished, impassioned vocals, "Clips" grooves with beat-laden soul.
