There is no standard for whether 12 PM means noon or midnight. See http://bit.ly/ryeiZb. Please clarify when this will be on - Wednesday at noon? Wednesday midnight? One can't tell from your schedule either.
I have to admit that I am not a big fan of J. Schwartz's show. Not my first choice but I respect the American Song book if not Mr. Schwartz's choice of performers. That said please allow me to comment on this years xmass show.
I like guitars, I play myself. I know some of the guys involved in the show, they are all nice folks and can play the instrument.
Doesn't seem they can tune them though.
The duo between Howard and Bucky was a horror. Whats up with that ? Buy these guys a couple of 25 buck guitar tuners so they can stay intune without being heard through their amps. WTF, tune up, bad enough ya gotta play the guitar, if you have to do it , at least tune the darn thing.
While I'm on a roll here let me mention this.
I have been hearing this show for years.
Who does sound for you ? They suck.
No matter what studio this Schwartz thing is aired from the sound is lame, bad eq's, bad mixes. Whats going on. Your producer going deaf ? Find some one else to do this show. Its actually dreadful. I hear live stuff from WNYC every day, its always great. Whats up. Who's driving this bus ? Get a grip.
Sorry for the rant, but this is over the top.
