About Concerts from the Frick Collection
For over sixty years, the venerable series of Concerts from the Frick Collection has delighted WNYC listeners with the finest in keyboard recitals, all manner of chamber groups, and groundbreaking early music ensembles. Many of the century's greatest artists have performed in the 175-seat music room at the Frick Collection, the former Upper East Side residence of industrialist Henry Clay Frick. Many of these performances are New York debuts of nationally and internationally acclaimed musicians, helping them launch or further their careers. The 2003 series on WNYC features highlights of the past two seasons at the Frick Collection.

Allan Kozinn of The New York Times describes the Frick Collection's performance space: "[T]he intimate concert room at the Frick Collection offers an experience as close to that of the 19th-century salon as a modern concertgoer is likely to find outside a private party."

Complete Schedule: Programs take place Saturdays, 8-10pm on 93.9 FM.
