Each evening during the conventions, Brian Lehrer hosts a convention call-in from 7-8pm, from WNYC in New York and around the country on the "(Mostly) Swing-State Radio Network". Get analysis of the convention, previews of that evening's speeches, and a chance to talk with public radio listeners in swing states around the country.

Dear Brian,
I always love your show and your phenomenal ability to ask the right questions and get thoughtful responses from your callers.
I am sorely disappointed in your choice to ask Jodi Cantor to give commentary on the Obamas. Ms Cantor's insights are barely disguised innuendo, hearsay and gossip. Her credentials as a journalist for the New York Times, doesn't give her any expertise into the mind of anyone. Certainly casting herself as knowing the Obamas is ridiculous. Is she a psychoanalyst? Would she cast herself as the reader into the mind of anyone else she is writing a story about? She is not qualified to go anywhere inside of anyone's mind. Let alone one as complex as one trying to run a country.
I'm not sure that when Michelle Obama said, "We were so young, so in love, & so in debt," she was talking about a collective "we." I thought she meant herself & Barack Obama specifically.
