Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich endorsed Carl Paladino this morning on the Brian Lehrer Show. Gingrich, who led the mid-term Republican revolution in 1994, said Paladino's anti-tax, anti-government message was popular throughout the country this year.
The battle cry of cutting spending, reforming Albany, making it harder to raise taxes are frankly battle cries that are resounding almost everywhere in America.
Asked if he was endorsing the GOP candidate for Governor of New York, Gingrich said, "Of course."
