New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg says he's not running for president—but so does everyone else who's name comes up in the 2012 conversation. Contrary to Bloomberg's statements, The Huffington Post insinuates that all signs point to probably, with MSNBC host Joe Scarborough potentially joining the ticket. Which left us wondering: what do you think?
Would you vote for a Bloomberg/Scarborough ticket? Would you rather see another candidate for VP?

Boo to Scarborough, a blustering pundit. I don't think anyone from MSNBC or Fox News should ever be elected to serve in the public interest.
I love Mike Bloomberg, and truly hope he runs. However, I doubt he will. Obama's fairly moderate and has done well. Bloomberg would likely pull more votes from him than a hard-line conservative (eg Palin). Plus, I remember all the 2008 rumors, even to the point of "Draft Bloomberg." He likes what he does, and I don't think he wants the presidency.
I think the better question is, where will the dems be in two years? It's forseeable that this political decline becomes more extreme, and the party could choose to run a non-incumbent. There could just be a VP change. A lot depends on who the Republicans end up with, which in turn depends on how well the left and right are fairing respectively.
