Year-end lists are not just about remembering the best. Where there's the good, there's always the bad. Here are some "worst of the worst" lists that remind us of what we loved to hate in 2009.

Best-of lists for 2009 and all of the "aughts" have been coming in for weeks. To make things a little easier, we've decided to make a list of the lists. Our criteria:  quirky. We surely haven't found them all...so chime in with yours!

Late-night cocktails with adult children of psychotherapists led Jill Bauerle to the idea for Stacked Up, a web-based video series about authors and their bookshelves.  She described it as a cross between "Cribs"  and "The Paris Review." WNYC's Janaya Williams had a few questions for her.

Architect and illustrator Matteo Pericoli says that we don't choose our window views, they choose us.  In his new book,  "The City Out My Window - 63 Views on New York," he meticulously draws the window views of 63 New Yorkers, both famous and ordinary.

Susie Essman is not a doctor.  She doesn't even play one on TV. The comedienne is better known for her bossy "f@#K #$&" smackdowns on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" as "Susie Green."
