Edvard Munch's "The Scream," which sold for nearly $120 million at auction, will go on view at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
For six months starting October 24, MoMA will display the painting that has come to reflect modern man's angst. The painting was sold to a private collector at auction in May for the breath-taking sum, making it the most expensive artwork ever sold at auction.
There are four versions of "The Scream" — Munch painted each of them between 1893 and 1910.
The one to be displayed at MOMA is the only one in private hands. The other three are in Norwegian museums.
