Live on Soundcheck: The Goat Rodeo Sessions

Cellist Yo Yo Ma, fiddler Stuart Duncan, bassist Edgar Meyer, and mandolinist Chris Thile got together to make the album The Goat Rodeo Sessions.
So what is a "goat rodeo"? As Yo Yo Ma puts it, "If there were forks in the road and each time there was a fork, the right decision was made, then you get to a goat rodeo."
The arrangements are "like a reverse game of 'Jenga'" says mandolin player Chris Thile, trying to get all the players to land at the same place at the end of the songs.

I've been a follower of Yo-Yo Ma for many years.
I love the music in the lastest CD.
Edgar Meyer's bass sound is profoundly sexy, smooth.
This trio has produced beautiful music toghether.
Love the name of the CD, it is quite picturesque: a bunch of kids cappering around and having lots of fun. Not goats fighting.
What does a goat have to do with a fork in the road let alone a rodeo? OK... I still don't know what the heck a "Goat Rodeo" is - and the "Jenga" example magnified the confusion. "Goat Rodeo"... sounds silly from where I sit. It appears to me the confusion is intentional and its purpose is to dilute the novice out of the picture - but then why market this silly title to the masses?
