The Art of Moving Boxes

For a little over two hours Thursday in Union Square, multicolored boxes joined the tourists, skateboarders and local business people milling about in the sunshine. Brooklyn-based artist Arielle Falk created the boxes for a project called "De-INHIBITIONATORS."
Inside the various rectangles, Falk enlisted friends and hired performers to step into the box and move around the southern corner of Union Square. Check out a slideshow of the project and see what bystanders had to say below.
