Hey Louvre – Egypt’s calling, and it wants its stolen artifacts back. Same goes for you, British Museum and Neues Museum.

For years, Egyptian officials have been trying to recover these works of art, oftentimes acquired illegally decades ago. Now, some of the most famous pieces from antiquity are embroiled in what seems to be a never-ending custody battle.

Dr. Zahi Hawass, Secretary General of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities, made it clear he means business. At a press conference for the new King Tut exhibit in New York Wednesday, he announced his "wish list" of items he wants returned.

The biggies include:

• The Bust of Nefertiti — The Neues Museum, Berlin

• The Rosetta Stone — British Museum, London

• The Zodiac of Dendera — Louvre, Paris
