The buzzy beach band Real Estate continues to make proverbial waves across the indie rock scene. The New Jersey natives just released their self-titled debut on Woodsist and plan to go on a European tour next month.

The up-and-coming quartet stopped by WNYC yesterday, performing live on Soundcheck.  Now you can see Real Estate in the most appropriate setting – a real estate office.

Get this -- they’re playing tonight at an office party in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. The group will be headlining the Gateway Realtors annual holiday party.  That’s where lead singer Martin Courtney’s mom works.

It’s a far cry from the Cake Shop. But, you can learn about all the fabulous property the Garden State has to offer, enjoy free egg nog and photo-copy your face with the band at the office.
