This Week's Divorce Tales: So...Married Life?
Monday, May 10, 2010
Continuing the divorce series where we explore your parents' splits, this week we want to know: How was your parents' early married life? Glory days? Or trouble on the horizon? Get it out, kids.
We've reminisced with our folks about their days of togetherness: throwing parties, hosting cooking clubs, and having us kids.
What did we come up with? Well, this is them, played by us. Telling it like it was. Watch the video, below.
Over the next couple months, we’ll post more clips from our show.
But in the meantime, we want to hear your tales.
Week Two's question: How was married life?
Do your parents have stories of the good ol' days, when child-rearing and compatibility reigned? Perhaps you have a memory that sticks out? Maybe a photo that sums it all up? Use the form below to send us your stories, a video or audio clip, photos, cartoons, or an original song, and the results will be posted on our site along with contributions from earlier weeks.
Want to interview your own parents on the subject like we did? Take a look at The Civilians’ Method to get you started.
