Global warming, suburban sprawl and urban life are all over the art world right now (see this show at the New Museum). Those concerns were on the mind of the wide-ranging designer/inventor Buckminster Fuller, who died in 1983. Fuller’s work is on display within the walls of the Whitney Museum. WNYC’s Collin Campbell reported on his history – and the relevance of his work today.
